Firstly I would like to respectfully acknowledge the Yugambeh People, the traditional custodians of the land, and pay my respect to their elders past and present, and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples reading this today.
This week is a very important week, not only to the traditional people of Australia, but to all Australian people – This week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and it is a great opportunity to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
