HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
If you or your loved one would be interested in applying to be a member of our Consumer Advisory Body, we are currently welcoming expressions of interest, which you can submit by emailing admin@libertycommunity.org.au or calling us on 07 5578 1668.
Members will join for one year with the possibility of that time being extended. We will consult with members throughout the year in different ways, which may include:
- online meetings, including reading and preparation
- reviewing draft documents and providing comment
- completing surveys or phone interviews
- face-to-face meetings twice per year, normally in March and September.
HOW IS FEEDBACK USED?
We want to know what is important to you, so we can improve the quality of our services. We are committed to listening to, and considering, all feedback provided by the Consumer Advisory Body, and after each meeting the Liberty Committee of Management will report back to members on the outcomes and what we are doing with the suggestions made.
WHO CAN JOIN?
While places on our Consumer Advisory Body may be limited, every 12 months we will communicate to all our clients and their representatives to again seek their interest in participating – so please be assured there will be more opportunities to get involved in the future.
We welcome an inclusive Consumer Advisory Body, including people living with a disability as well as those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. We look forward to developing an inclusive Consumer Advisory Body, representing a wide range of people and places, to continue our focus on ensuring the voice of our clients remains at the very heart of everything we do.
