The senior management lead and support the rest of the team  who are made up of handpicked, skilled and qualified people. Liberty’s commitment to Livin’ Well involves the recruitment of staff and volunteers that are passionate about working with the elderly, people who live with a disability and their carers. Our staff and volunteers are recruited not only based on their experience and qualifications, but also on commitment, values and passion. Our staff and volunteers are committed to providing the best possible support to our clients because they love what they do.  
Our Volunteers
Volunteers vary from the newly recruited to up to 17 years of commitment. Our volunteers continue to be essential to our service delivery by increasing our capacity to meet the needs of the Gold Coast’s most vulnerable populations. Over fifty volunteers work with us each year in various capacities, supporting our clients and bringing their own experiences and gifts to maintain our excellent standard of service delivery and outstanding reputation in the community. Our volunteers have been regularly nominated and recognised through awards for their service to the Gold Coast Community.

Our Committee

Liberty Community Connect is governed by a Management Committee who ensures the sound governance and long term sustainability of Liberty. The committee have been recruited based on the financial and organisational needs of Liberty as well as their knowledge, skills and experience both professionally and within the Gold Coast community. The Management Committee's qualifications and experience cover a range of areas including pharmaceutical, insurance & risk, finance & banking, marketing, housing construction & tenancy management, community aged care and disability sector (private and NFP), pastoral care, community participation and client representation.
